Arequipa City Tour

Day 1: Main Square – Yanahuara – Sabandía

According to the agreed schedule (morning shift at 9:00 AM, afternoon shift at 2:00 PM), we will begin the City Tour in the white city of Arequipa. We will pick up participants from their hotels and take them to the Main Square of Arequipa, where we will board our comfortable panoramic bus to explore the historic center of the city. During the journey, you will enjoy panoramic views and visit iconic places such as the Main Square and the San Lázaro Neighborhood. We will make brief stops to get off the panoramic bus and appreciate key locations: Yanahuara, known for its famous Yanahuara Viewpoint, from where you can admire the portal of the traditional church and the imposing Misti volcano.

Continuing the tour, we will head to Carmen Alto Viewpoint, which offers stunning views of ancient terraces alongside local vegetation, as well as allowing us to contemplate Arequipa’s three imposing volcanoes: Misti, Chachani, and Picchu Picchu. Next, we will move to the Incalpa mini zoo, where we will meet the four camelids of Latin America (llama, alpaca, vicuña, and guanaco).

As the highlight of our panoramic bus City Tour in Arequipa, we will visit the ancient Sabandía Mill, an architectural gem surrounded by trees and a beautiful waterfall that powers the old millstones. In this place, you can also observe a diverse collection of cacti, flowers, and native plants. This attraction is located 20 kilometers from the center of Arequipa. Once this tour is concluded, we will return to the center of Arequipa to conclude our panoramic bus experience.
