ATV Tour to Piuray Lake, Huaypo Lake, and Moray Salt Mines

Experience the thrill of an ATV tour that will immerse you in a journey full of adventures and natural wonders in the heart of the majestic Peruvian Andes. Discover the imposing beauty of Piuray Lake and the serenity of Huaypo Lake, surrounded by breathtaking mountain landscapes. Explore the astonishing engineering of the Moray Salt Mines, ancient terraced steps that appear to come from another world. Navigate through diverse terrains while immersing yourself in the culture and splendor of this region, creating unforgettable memories in a truly unique setting.


Day 1: Maras Salt Mines – Piuray Lake – Huaypo Lake

MORNING SHIFT: Pick-up from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Main Square fountain).
AFTERNOON SHIFT: Pick-up from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (Main Square fountain).

Our starting point is the fountain at the Main Square or hotels near the square. From here, we will head to the base in MARAS, with an approximately one-hour journey in our tourist transportation.

Once at the base, there will be a briefing and driving instruction led by our guides. You will then have a 15-minute practice. Afterward, we will begin our ATV journey, which will last around 4 and a half hours, round trip.

After the practice, we will head to Piuray Lake, where you will have 20 minutes to explore on your own. Continuing the tour, we will proceed to Huaypo Lake, where we will enjoy 20 minutes appreciating the surroundings. Then, we will continue on ATVs to Moray for a 20-minute visit.

After concluding our visits, we will return on ATVs to our base, then board the vehicle that will take us to the MARAS SALT MINES (20-minute visit). Once the visit is done, we will head back to the city of Cusco.
