Itinerary

Day 1: Airport Reception – Afternoon Cusco City Tour

Upon arrival, Cusco Inkaico will welcome you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. You’ll have time to rest, explore the city on your own, and enjoy lunch before our exciting first excursion in the afternoon (approximately at 1:15 pm; we will provide the exact pickup time the day before at your hotel’s reception). Our guide and vehicle will be waiting to start the tour, which will include the majestic Cusco Cathedral, the revered Qoricancha (temple of the sun), and the imposing archaeological complex of Sacsayhuamán. We’ll conclude around 6:00 pm near the Plaza de Armas, where you’ll have time for dinner.

Day 2: Machu Picchu – Cusco

We take care of transferring you from your hotel to the train station in Ollantaytambo. Our focus on small groups allows us to provide comfort and personalized attention to our customers. The train journey from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes, which lasts about 1 hour and 50 minutes, gives you the opportunity to enjoy beautiful landscapes and panoramic views.

Once in Aguas Calientes, our guide will welcome you at the train station and accompany you to the bus terminal, where you will board a bus that will take you to the Archaeological Sanctuary of Machu Picchu. During the bus ride, which takes approximately 25 minutes, you can admire the winding routes and panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, culminating in the arrival at the astonishing citadel of Machu Picchu. This monument, considered one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, will leave you amazed.

The guided tour by our professional in tourism will provide you with a deeper connection to the history, architecture, and the engineers’ involvement in the creation of the Inca City of Machu Picchu.

Once the tour in Machu Picchu is finished, you will take the bus back to Aguas Calientes, where you will have free time to enjoy your meals. Then, at the indicated time, you will head to the train station to return to Ollantaytambo. From there, our transportation service will take you back to the city of Cusco.

Day 3: Hotel Cusco – Airport

On this eighth day, Cusco Inkaico will be at your service for the transfer from your hotel to the airport and/or terminal. We recommend that you be ready about 2 hours before your flight departure, a advisable practice. Make the most of this day to enjoy some free time before departing, allowing you to reflect on the invaluable experiences you’ve had during your stay.
