Day 1: Abode of the Gods – Valley of the Elves – Huasao Wetlands – Forest of the Ents
We will start our tour at 10 a.m. from the iconic Main Square of Cusco, the meeting point that marks the beginning of our exciting journey.
Plaza de Armas Cusco: Fall in love with the colonial charm of this square that reflects the history of the Spanish conquerors in the city. However, its origin dates back long before the conquest, being the center of the creation of the imperial city and the capital of the Inca empire.
Abode of the Gods: This new set of lithic monuments under construction is built on virgin land. During its construction, some people working here had sightings of mythical beings known as “mukis” or elves, who claimed to be part of this work in honor of Pachamama.
Valley of the Elves: The Valley of the Elves shines with stone sculptures and figures of elves integrated into rocks and chinkanas, creating a stunning visual spectacle.
Huasao Wetlands: A natural space reclaimed by humans, this Theme Park is a wild lung in the region. With trees, a lake, and various species, the Huasao wetland is a new natural treasure.
Forest of the Ents: Inspired by J.R.R. Tolkien’s “The Lord of the Rings” franchise, the Forest of the Ents is located in San José de Turpo, near Cusco. You will discover natural sculptures made from roots that will transport you to the magical world of literature.
Patapatayoc Viewpoint: At the Patapatayoc Viewpoint, you can delight in Chicha de Jora and admire spectacular panoramic views.
